The Certificate of Safety Training (CoST) Continued Competence Refresher Training is designed for holders of an AMSA issued Certificate of Safety Training and meets the mandatory Sea Survival and Fire Fighting continued competency requirements for current Seafarers with qualifying sea service.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
As this course involves use of breathing apparatus, extinguishing fires, confined spaces and other strenuous activities, you will be required to complete a medical declaration prior to commencing training. The result of which may, in some circumstances, preclude you from completing the fire component.

Assessment will include written tests and practical demonstration of skills.
