This course satisfies the requirements for revalidation of a Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) Radio Operators Certificate (ROC).
Participants are advised to refer to the AMSA website for more detailed information on options for GMDSS ROC renewal: https://www.amsa.gov.au/qualifications-training/international-qualifications/gmdss-radio-certificate-of-recognition.
You must have previously held a GMDSS General Operators Certificate in the last five years.
Assessment Procedures
Assessment will include written tests and practical demonstration of skills.
Successful candidates will be entitled to apply for renewal of their AMSA GMDSS ROC.
