The aims of First Aid are to preserve life, protect the unconscious, prevent the condition from worsening, and promote recovery, to ensure a safe environment and to give reassurance to the sick or injured.Our aim is for students to gain the confidence and skills to undertake the initial management of injuries and illnesses occurring within the workplace, home, recreational and remote settings. With enthusiasm and a true commitment to this subject, the First Aid teachers encourage a positive, competency based learning environment enhanced by a practical, hands-on approach.
