Revalidate your Certificate of Safety Training (CoST) with Queensland's largest and most experienced training provider. This skill set has been designed for certificate holders without qualifying sea time. Qualifying sea service is at least 12 months in total during the preceding five years before application, or three months in total during the preceding six months prior to revalidating.
This course includes core skills in personal survival techniques and fire prevention and fire fighting. You'll gain the skills and knowledge required to learn how to survive at sea in the event of vessel abandonment and discover how to prevent fires and respond effectively to any fire emergency on board a vessel.
Successful completion of this course meets the requirements of Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) Reg VI/1 and Code Section A-VI/1, Tables A-VI/1-2 and A-VI/1-1.
